One of the best days to capture on film are weddings.It is such a special event that capturing the events on film is just great.Because capturing those moments in a photo will forever remind those people involved of that special day.In this article we are going to talk about some ways on how to capture that day forever in photos.

As a San Diego wedding photographer I take a wedding job very seriously.I know that that day is very special for them so I want to give them something special also like capturing the happy moments during that day.So my first tip is about capturing the moments in motion during that special day.In a wedding almost all the events are non-stop and people are always moving.There would be a lot of movement so the trick would be to capture those moments.

Another tip I can give is to take other shot aside from the standard shots that you would normally take.Well, you can still take those standard photos like the photos of the bride and groom posing for you but the highlight of your album should be about moments in action.  As a San Diego photographer I am always thinking of ways to capture the same shots with different angles.That way you can capture the emotion of the event and you can tell the story of the event through the photos.You can have some hardship at first but by practicing you will perfect the trick.

Finally you want your photos to capture the event as something bigger than life.Because for the people involved in the event this day is bigger than life.  So as a San Diego event photography service I have learned doing big events how to do this.  In other words you don’t just want small pictures.  You have to learn to take the shots in a way that makes the moment so much bigger.

Now of course all these tips does require some artistic sense.Bt if you can understand what I’m trying to say then that wedding photos you will take would turn out to be memorable.The photos would not jsut translate into some boring photo album.But pictures that can tell what happened during that very special day.

Either you are an amateur or professional at photography you should still want to imporve your skills.Because all the photos that you would take captures a unique moment.And since they are once in a moment shots then you might as well take a good shot of it.So here are some ways to improve your photography skills.

Well in my practice as a San Diego wedding photographer I do many weddings. And if you don’t know weddings are very important events.This is a day where there would be lots of joyful moments.  But also that day brings a lot of stress and pressure.And one job that can give a lot of pressure to a person is the job of capturing photos of the happy moments during that day.  And if you are proud of the work you do, you want your work to immortalize that day.  And the only way you can do that is if you get better. 

Practicing to take shots is one way to get better.  I don’t mean to practice at a paid wedding.  No, you should practice taking photos of weddings you don’t have pay in.That way you can take any shots you want and you can be creative.  I have done this many times as a San Diego photographer.Of course you can’t command the bride and groom to pose for you unless you know them well. But you can still take great pictures nonetheless.

Another way to improve your skills is to enter a photo competition.Competitions are a good way of bringing out the best in a person.  Contests are a great way for you to try and perform your best.And what’s good about this is that at the end of the competition you can gauge how you performed by comparing your work to other works. Doing San Diego event photography this has helped me see where I need to improve in as well as see my strengths.  Plus if you win you should win a nice prize.

Another great way to practice is at big events.Events like festivals or county fairs.Or you can go to major sporting events.Even summer league of kids is a great event to take photos.  Doing San Diego event photography has allowed to realize how different the kind of photos you take at big events are.  By practicing some shots at sporting events you will get better at taking moving shots.
