Digital Camera Care And Maintenance Basics

The continuing development of digital camera technology offers near limitless choices for the professional and amateur alike when looking to achieve the best photographs possible. There is a wide array of camera options ranging from compact digital cameras to large DSLRs. Each type of camera available has pros and cons associated with it, so shopping for the right camera can be confusing. Nevertheless, it will still boil down to the type and specifications that each person is looking for.

The best digital cameras will of course cost thousands of dollars due to advanced features and controls. The current top digital camera brands are Canon, Sony and Nikon.

The two most important and expensive parts of the camera are the lens and the LCD screen. These parts should be regularly cleaned and maintained. The fragile parts of the camera like the LCD screen should be well protected and not bumped or banged. Also don’t store a battery against the LCD inside your case; you might end up having to pay for a digital camera LCD screen repair Purchasing some good quality lens cleaning items such as a brush or blower and lens cloth and cleaning solution can be important. A lens blower can help remove dust and dirt, while a cleaning solution and cloth can remove debris that the blower cannot. One simple way to protect your camera lens is to always put the lens cover back on when you are done taking pictures.

Another important aspect of taking care of your digital camera is storage. It is recommended that the camera be stored in a cool and dry space. Remember to always guard the camera against extreme heat and cold. Always remove the batteries from your camera when it will no be used for any length of time. And just as a precaution, magnets of any kind should be kept away from the camera body and definately the memory card.

Aside from the structure of the digital camera, camera accessories such as memory cards should also be taken into account. These are small accessories, so you should take care to not lose or damage them. Never remove the memory card while transfering to your computer. Memory cards should be stored in the camera or in a card case to avoid damage to them and avoid losing them.

Taking good care of your camera is important so that it will be with you for a long time. Even if you purchase the most reliable brand, which in my opinion is Canon, there is still no guarantee that your camera won’t have problems due to the normal wear and tear of usage. As much as possible, to avoid having to find a Canon digital camera repair shop you need to protect it from impact damage, water exposure, sand and dust and extreme tempertures.

If you notice any damage or malfunction to any part then it is important to find someone who can affordably provide you with reliabledigital camera repair services. Keep in mind that a good digital camera is not cheap, and it pays off in the long run to take good care of it.

“Birth and Life” of Glamour Images: Past and Future

Artistic Glamour Photography is a relatively young artistic genre, yet it already boasts impressive and rich historic legacy, possesses its own legendary characters and turning points. After countless changes and transformations, numerous revolutions and much controversy, became what we can see today.

Let us have a short walk through the past years of Glamour Pictures and then venture forth to predict some of their future.

Early Years. Nobody really knows from where to begin the history of glamour photo genre. Some derive it from so-called “French postcards” which were quite popular in the streets of Paris in the early 1900’s, some address to Victorian pioneers of this art. A few people consider that glamour photography can be traced as far back as Baroque and Renaissance art. Franskly speaking, the birth of glamour photo cannot be discovered with any degree of certainty. I prefer to consider that classic and contemporary fine arts contributed in equal measures to create this unique genre – and it is the melting pot of 1920’s culture that we owe its birth. Also, it is from the first half of twentieth century that the history of classic glamour pictures can be traced.

Brilliant 50’s and Beyond. Those were difficult but glorious years. Famous Betty Grable was the queen of hearts before and after the war; Marilyn Monroe brought even more recognition to glamour pictures by her famous appearance on Playboy’s cover in 1953. Glamour pictures became more and more popular, as Pamela Green and others helped this young but prospective genre to become widely recognized.

Dawn of Digital Era. As time passed, beauty photography became colorful, frivolous, scandalous and much more ingenious. New names started conquering the stage, glamour magazines and beauty photography admirers – those were Dita von Teese, Heidie Van Horne, Lucy Pinder, Bernie Dexter and many others. As it happened, film gave way to . The tidal wave of progress improved glamour ’ technical quality and drastically simplified the very process of photo production. An amateur in possession of DSLR could potentially become a glamour . Combined with Internet, a real army of both gifted artists and usual dabblers emerged in the online world.

3D – What Does it Bring? At long last, 3D art hits the stage, offering computer graphics as an arguable alternative to photography. 3D modeling is an art as well, and a complex one, but it seems to be taking over the field of glamour images. I strongly believe that no artificial computer rendering can ever excel the natural beauty and genuine work of a talented photographer. In this fight of old and new I remain with the side of inspiration, live relationship and hard studio work.

The future, however, is bright – despite everything, oil, film and digital live on and remain popular. Artistic 3D may join these ranks, and so may whatever comes next. Technology rarely matters – inspiration and devotion are the most important pillars of any art. Remembering this simple truth is a mark of a truly passionate artist.

Lighting is essential to photographers

Lighting is one of the most important aspects of .  That is why you see so much money being spent on lighting equipment.  Proper lighting is the difference between a shot looking great or looking horrible. So knowing that here are some tips regarding lighting when taking photographs.

There will be times when lighting in a studio may not be used.An example of this would be a wedding.  Usually you will have to work with the natural lighting. As a San Diego wedding photographer I have to deal with this all the time. But it is not bad at all.Utilizing the natural lighting is what determines a if he is great or not.An example would be overcast days when it is great to take outdoor shots. But if the day is sunny then make sure that the light is not against the shot. That way you can utilize the sun and give you a great shot and not ruin it.

Another thing that would need lighting are events.  Doing a lot of San Diego event photography has allowed me to see the importance of this. Especially when you are taking pictures at night.  If you are taking pictures at night you have to use technology to your advantage.Use your camera’s night features because almost all, if not all, cameras have night mode nowadays.

Another thing that would need lighting is when you are taking corporate shots. What you usually want when taking corporate are that the shots shoudl be crisp.Best way of achieving this is through the use of lighting.  I use artificial lighting all the time as a San Diego commercial photographer all the time. This is not similar to wedding photography because in weddings you would usually just utilize the natural lighting provided by the sun. What’s good about these corporate shots is that they are prepared so your shots will turn out better.

So those are some tips on becoming a better photographer through lighting.Just remember that lighting would lead tog reat or bad shots.

Making your subjects look photogenic

One things people always classify themselves as are photogenic or not.So they may look good at .While some think otherwise.  Well in this article I will point out some tips to make everyone look great.Because it does not depend on a person’s look to be photogenic. It is dependent on how good you are in bringing them out.So if you follow the steps that we will be talking about in this article everyone would love the outcome of their looks in .

First of all in my service as a San Diego wedding photographer everyone needs to look good.Your clients would not be satisfied with your work if they do not like how they looked in your photos. So you must learn to do these tips to have satisfied clients. The use of soft lighting would be the first tip.Soft lighting includes the use of indirect window lighting or cloudy days. Soft lighting will help to reveal your subject’s features in a flattering way.

The next tip is to use simple backgrounds. This would be evident especially when doing wedding photos that is very hard to do.  But in my San Diego event photography service it is something that must be done.If you have less distractions you would be able to focus on the subject more.

Next tip is to pay more attention to the position of the hands and the heads. Not being able to do so would make the look of your subject very awkward.  This is especially important for my San Diego commercial photographer service. The last thing you want is to be taking photos for a corporate shoot and have the subject look uncomfortable.

So you should abide by these tips and you would be amazed at how the pictures would come out.  But on top of that your subjects will love you for the pictures you take because they are going to look great in them.
