For over the last 10 years Maternity Portraits have become popular. Almost every family thinks that the pregnancy of each child is a special event that must be documented with professional photography. There are several key elements to consider by professional photographer when creating portrait maternity:
The most important in maternity portrait is timing, not to do the session early and not have impressive belly, but can’t wait so long so that the mom is swollen in feet and ankles and miserable. The best time is 32 to 36 weeks.
A clear pregnant woman is another important thing to consider by professional photographer but it also must be partnered by the family like children or husband.
Location has to be chosen in maternity session. Photographer should think about the whether when the woman will be comfortable to show some skin in a public place like beach etc. or better to choose to do session in a privacy places like home or studio.

When location and style has been figured out it is time to figure out what to wear. In maternity portraits there are many choices; belly showing, with clothing, bathing suits or lingerie.
After decision has been made, the professional maternity photographer must think about what to do with images result. It can be hanged on the wall in living room, in master room or in baby room. Putting in a fine art maternity album is another good ideas.
